"Your session has timed out"

Why am I seeing a timeout error when uploading content?

What does this error mean, "Your session has timed out, please click 'OK' to refresh the page. If you have unsaved changes, click 'Cancel' and refresh your browser after saving"?

Answers

There are two common causes for this error:

1. A browser issue

If you'd like to run a quick test to see if the issue you are experiencing is browser-specific, the best way is to log in to your account in a different browser and perform the same action. If the behavior is different in the new browser, then it is browser-specific.

 

2. A timing issue

When you device system clock is set manually, this can cause a conflict with the expected current time, and you will see the timed-out message stating the session has expired. To fix this, we recommend changing your device's system settings so time is set automatically instead.
